A very well known & respected professional in the Rail Industry with 35 years of experience including extensive knowledge of track maintenance & inspections as well as track geometry, geotechnical, supervision & planning. He started his career in the rail industry in 1985 w/ C.P. Rail as a Laborer, quickly working his way up to a machine operator, then General Foreman before taking a management position in Winnipeg as an Assistant Road Master in the very busy hub of the Winnipeg terminal. He operated many types of railway equipment throughout his career & worked with various crews from Red Deer, Alberta to Thunder Bay Ont. He also patrolled the C.P. Main line between Winnipeg, MB & Kenora, Ont as well as taking a 1 year term on the TEC car as Track Evaluation Specialist . He retired from C.P. Rail in March of 2020 and now brings his experience to Dunit Contracting giving our customers excellent service in rail inspection & repair.

Ron Huber has over 30 years of exstensive rail industry experience. He began his career as a laborer where he moved on to machine operating. He became general foreman on various production crews, gaining knowledge of track installation, track maintenance and inspection guidelines. He was able to perform track maintenance from Thunder Bay Ontario to Kenora; Ontario to Winnipeg Manitoba right through to Saskatchewan and Alberta. Ron is a ticketed welder and has 15 years of experience track and thermite welding as a welding foreman. He is also a certified frog and rail end welder. Ron is qualified to perform rail car switching services. With high standards and evolving work practices he makes sure Dunit Contracting stays current and up to date. Ron's extensive rail servicing knowledge combined with being an expert welder allows Dunit Contracting to ensure your inspection and maintenance needs are always met.
